Project SHINE — Your Sexual Health Toolkit

Project SHINE — Your Sexual Health Toolkit

We worked with the Project SHINE team and their collaborators to create a visual brand for the organization. Once the branding was established, we moved onto designing and building Your Sexual Health Toolkit. This toolkit was created especially for teens and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Why? Because they are too often left out of sexuality education conversations and we think that’s wrong. We spent time weekly reviewing prototypes and designs with actual youth to ensure the toolkit was accessible for all.

Green Umbrella

We collaborated with the Green Umbrella team to create a single, robust site that helps serve the public and their members. The membership houses an expanded directory, the ability to post events and job positions, and a dynamic resource section. The public-facing site shows a simplified version of the same member directory, the job board, a calendar of events, and a blog! Our team loved create a new visual brand language for Green Umbrella through the creation of this website.

Towards the end of 2020, we helped design, build, and launch a new website for AwkTalk™! This site is a resource for teens to get answers to life’s awkward questions about sexual health, puberty, relationships, sexually transmitted infections and more from medical experts. We worked with their team to create a site that is accessible, informational, and fact-filled! The site features a way to find a nearby clinic (one of our favorite pieces to build).
