Eric’s Substack was already gaining momentum, but the visual identity didn’t fully reflect the warmth, humor, and expertise of the content. He wanted a cohesive system that could be used across his posts and social channels, making every recipe feel like an event and every newsletter feel unmistakably Easy Gay Oven.
Solution
We created a complete brand suite to elevate Easy Gay Oven online. This included a logo suite with playful nods to baking tools, a set of custom illustrations, post image templates, and custom separators for newsletters. The system is flexible enough for ongoing use, giving Eric a signature look that feels consistent, inviting, and fun for both free and paid subscribers.
Substack Branding
The Substack design system transforms each post into a brand experience. Every title graphic, in-post illustration, and divider reinforces the personality of Easy Gay Oven, making content feel curated and intentional. Subscribers can instantly recognize Eric’s work, whether they’re checking a recipe, scrolling through a newsletter, or revisiting an old post in the archive.
