Abby Arad (Your Stylist Says)

As one of Hollywood's most sought-after stylists, Abby Arad knows that great style is about more than what you wear. It's about perspective. Through her Substack, she shares that perspective with readers through outfit inspiration, recommendations, shopping edits, and personal insights. We partnered with Abby to create a branded editorial experience that feels unmistakably her while making the most of what Substack can offer.

Context

Substack offers a powerful platform for building community, but its design limitations can make it difficult for creators to establish a strong visual identity. Abby needed a system that felt polished, recognizable, and aligned with her personal brand while supporting the wide range of content she shares with her audience.

The goal was to create an experience that felt less like a newsletter and more like stepping into Abby's world.

Solution

We developed a custom visual system designed specifically for Substack, including a new color palette, typography collection, branded headers, and editorial collage assets. Every element was crafted to elevate the reading experience and give Abby greater flexibility in how she presents recommendations, roundups, outfit inspiration, and personal stories.

The result is a Substack that feels cohesive, distinctive, and immediately recognizable, creating a stronger connection between Abby's content and her audience.

Substack Branding

Because Substack offers limited opportunities for customization, every branding decision needed to work harder. We established an expanded visual language through typography, color, and editorial art direction, creating a system that feels elevated, fashion-forward, and uniquely Abby.

To bring personality and consistency to every post, we created a library of custom content assets including branded headers, collages, and graphic treatments. These pieces help transform individual newsletters into a cohesive editorial experience while giving Abby flexible tools for showcasing products, styling advice, outfit inspiration, and recommendations.

The system allows her content to feel curated and recognizable at every touchpoint, even within the constraints of the platform.
