Garbage World
When Bitch Sesh, the beloved podcast hosted by Casey Wilson and Danielle Schneider, approached the end of its network contract, they saw a rare opportunity. After eight years of building a loyal following, they chose not to renew. Instead, they decided to take full ownership of their content, audience, and revenue.
Their vision was to create something bigger than a podcast. They called it Garbage World. It would be part platform, part community, and part identity. We partnered with Casey and Danielle to bring that vision to life, leading strategy, design, and full-scale execution.

Context
Over the years, Bitch Sesh had cultivated a deeply engaged audience and a distinct voice that resonated far beyond the show itself. However, like many network-backed podcasts, the brand did not fully control distribution, monetization, or direct audience relationships.
This transition presented a clear challenge and an even clearer opportunity. The goal was to build a self-owned platform that could house content, community, and commerce while preserving the personality that fans already loved.
Solution
We reframed Bitch Sesh as more than a podcast and instead positioned it as a membership-driven media brand. Garbage World became the central destination where everything lived.
This included a fully paywalled version of the original show, free from ads and built for subscribers, alongside a new companion podcast, Garbage Sesh. The platform was designed to support ongoing expansion while giving the creators complete ownership.
Turning an iconic podcast into a fully owned media ecosystem
Branding
We developed a visual identity that embraced the humor, irreverence, and insider language of the audience. Rather than refining or polishing the brand, the goal was to amplify what already made it resonate.
The system was playful, referential, and flexible enough to extend across digital, community, and physical touchpoints.
Website
We designed and built a custom website that functioned as both a public-facing brand hub and a gated membership experience. The site allowed users to easily subscribe, access premium content, and explore the growing world of Garbage World.
The structure created a seamless experience between discovery and membership, while also laying the groundwork for future growth.
We designed and launched a collection of custom merchandise. Each piece was rooted in inside jokes and references that only the audience would understand.
The Outcome
Garbage World successfully transformed Bitch Sesh into a fully owned media brand with multiple revenue streams and direct audience relationships.
The platform supported a strong subscription model, an active and self-sustaining Discord community, and continued growth through new content and commerce. The creators gained full control over their work while deepening their connection with their audience.
